CHURCH on SUNDAY

I always wanted to go to a real NY Gospel Church, when my friend Paula from Munich came for a visit to Nyc in May we went to one of the most popular Churches up in Harlem the Abyssinian | Baptist Church, my friend Kelley came along and we thought of making it kind of a tradition to check out different churches. Anyway there was a line to get into the Church Service literally till around the block. Impossible to get in, gladly there was a Tourist group going in we thought about just pretending to be one of them when a Usher (lol) came up and asked us how many we are so he sneaked us in, it was like getting into a Club when you're 17. They were so strict I couldn't film and capture the amazing gospel choir, it was definitely an Experience. A good half year later today Kelley and I met up and went to the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Fort Greene Brooklyn, locals and 2 hipsters that we spotted, again it was hard to capture anything but I did get a 20 sec video out of it. I must admit its not easy waking up at 9:30 am on a Sunday and I did catch myself napping but the Plan is to make a Series of different Churches and get Permits to film.
Here a photo of a Church that was next door
